Implementation of Data Center Systems that Meet Security Standards

The development of information technology and systems has triggered globalization and made changes that have a very significant impact on today's business and people's behavior. The need for a data center as a form of supporting infrastructure in providing services to a government agency, especially the National Cyber and Crypto Agency, has become a basic need.

Introduction

BSSN has the authority to carry out tasks in the field of cybersecurity and ciphers to assist in administering government. Therefore we need a centralized data infrastructure in the form of a data center. The scope of the data center itself is not just servers, but also includes supports from data center rooms such as monitoring devices, Access Doors, CCTV, and Server Racks. This is a form of system security which is a benchmark to meet the expected security standards.

Requirements

Initiation of device requirements for the Data Center.

  • Server

  • STYRE Monitoring System

  • Sensor STYRE Gateway

  • Access Door

  • CCTV

  • NVR

  • Ethernet Switch

  • Sensor

  • Intelligent Cabinet Rack (Server dan Network)

Results

With the construction of the data center, BSSN already has principal repositories. That is, the data center will meet all infrastructure-related needs including storage subsystems, servers, routers, firewalls, networking switches, and so on. Furthermore, with supporting devices such as Access Doors, CCTV, NVR and sensors placed in the data center will create an environment with good security and control. The installed monitoring system does not only show information on the display screen, but also serves as an alert for administrators so that when an anomaly occurs, action can be taken immediately.
